How is your financial planning advice provided to me?

Our initial advice to you will be documented in a plan called a Statement of Advice, which details:

  1. the advice given to you and why we believe it is appropriate;
  2. any disadvantages of our advice;
  3. details of any remuneration that we or our associates receive as a result of the advice; and
  4. if replacement of an existing financial product is recommended and any consequences from that replacement.

If your circumstances have not changed significantly and we provide further advice to you, in addition to your Statement of Advice, we can provide a Record of Advice upon your request at any time up to seven years from the date we provided the further advice.

As part of our advice, if we recommend a financial product (other than shares), we will provide you with the relevant Product Disclosure Statement for each product, which discloses the product provider, features, costs and risks.

As your financial coach, we will let you know what needs to be done and when.

How will I ensure that my privacy is protected?

Your advisor will develop a strategy based on your current financial situation and goals. In order to provide the best advice to you, it is important that we have open and honest discussions.

We appreciate that it can be uncomfortable to provide personal information and we will endeavour to make the experience as comfortable and painless as possible. We pride ourselves on our approachability to clients.

The advice we can give you is only as good as our comprehensive understanding of your personal circumstances.

Financial advice partnerships work most effectively when there is trust, regular communication and equal commitment from both parties.
